I am originally from Madrid, Spain, and through my adult life, I moved with my family around Europe and six years ago we moved here, to the United States. My passion for decoration and design has always been tied to my passion for traveling and exploring different lands and cultures, each with their own traditional designs and colors. Trained in interior design in Dublin, my keen eye for beautiful and intricate patterns and decorations stemmed from the culture and exquisite designs surrounded me.

The concept of the atelier emerged when I promptly recognized the challenge of sourcing artisanal and personalized lampshades in the United States, similar to the ones I had encountered in Europe. As a result, The Lampshade Atelier was created. ​

In our atelier all our products are meticulously handcrafted and made to order, we do not have lampshades in stock.

As if it were a fashion atelier, at The Lampshade Atelier you can design your lampshade from scratch, choosing your perfect fit, size and favorite textiles, combining different fabrics and textures and adding exclusive velvet trims as you wish to design your bespoke lampshade, making your home unique with your custom made lampshade.
